Dr. Bachir Younes first graduated from medical school in 1997 from the American University of Beirut. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and was also Chief Resident at the University of Kansas (KU) from 1998 – 2001. At KU from 2001 – 2003 he completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease and a Masters in Public Health. He then joined the staff at KU and at the Kansas City VA As an Assistant Professor from 2003-2006, and has been working in private practice since 2006. His areas of medical specialty include: General Infectious Diseases, wound care, HIV, and outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy. Dr. Younes is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases and oversees each of the Younes Medical clinics and all aspects of the practice.
